10% growth in the first quarter of 2018

Johannesburg, May 20, 2018 – In the first quarter of 2018, the South Africa tech-nical consumer goods (TCG) market grew by 10 percent, compared to the same quarter in 2017. Telecommunications, the biggest contributor to the South African market, grew by 22.4%. Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) saw a 2% growth, and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) saw a 8% growth.
