Strong performances in three of seven sectors in Vietnam’s technical consumer goods market

GfK TEMAX results for Vietnam, Q1 2019

Hanoi, April 30, 2019 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Vietnam registered a slight decrease of 2.2 percent in Q1 2019, compared to Q1 2018. 

There were excellent performances in the small domestic appliances (SDA), Information Technology (IT), and office equipment and consumables (OE). Otherwise, consumer electronics (CE), telecommunications (TC), major domestic appliances (MDA) and photography (PHO) sector were the disappointing sectors with a negative growth.
