The Turkish Technical consumer goods market continues to grow in Q3 2018.

GfK TEMAX® results for Turkey, Q3 2018 

Istanbul, November 12, 2018 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Turkey grew by 8 percent in Q3 2018, compared to the same quarter in 2017 and generated revenue of 16,1 billion TL. Telecommunication and Small Domestic Appliances provided the major boost with double digit growth rate; consumer electronics and major domestic appliances contributed into the positive trend.

Due to the limitations in installment rates and increasing prices in most categories,  the positive trend changed its direction and led to decline in revenue in September 2018 compared to the last year and the market contracted by almost 10%.
