Thailand, Sep 30, 2018 – The Thailand technical consumer goods market declined by 5 percent in the third quarter of 2018, compared to the same quarter last year.
The major dropped in Telecommunication (TEL) segment at 13.9 percent led to major declining in Thailand Technical Consumer Goods.
In contrast, the other remaining segments continue show positive growing trends especially Consumer Electronics (CE), Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) which grow by 7.5 percent, 6.5 percent and 5.5 percent respectively. Besides, the small contribution segments which include Office Equipment & Consumables (OE) and Photography (PE) shown potential in growing as 3.9 percent and 1.7 percent respectively.
However, Information Technology (IT) segment seem to reach saturated as market remained unchanged
