Thailand, Sep 30, 2019 – The Thailand technical consumer goods market represented positive trends by 2.4 percent in the third quarter of 2019, compared to the same quarter last year.
The major drivers of market growth mainly came from Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) and Telecommunication (TEL). These 3 main segments play important role in driving market by growing at 20.3 percent, 4.9 percent and 4.8 percent respectively by segment.
However, challenge occurred in Photography (PE), Office Equipment & Consumables (OE) and Consumer Electronics (CE). As, demand continued dropped especially Photography (PE) rep-resented significantly dropped by 21.0 percent followed by Office Equipment & Consumables (OE) dropped by 11.4 percent and Consumer Electronics (CE) dropped by 7.5 percent.
However, Information Technology (IT) segment seem to reach saturated as market quite maintained at positive 0.7 percent.
