Thailand, Jun 30, 2019 – The Thailand technical consumer goods market represented positive trends by 4.7 percent in the second quarter of 2019, compared to the same quarter last year.
As a result of the growing trends in Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), Major Domestic Appli-ances (MDA) and Telecommunication (TEL), it contributed to the positive improvement in the Total Thailand Technical Consumer Goods. As, these major segments still showed potential growth by 26.9 percent, 8.4 percent and 6.7 percent respectively by segment.
On the other hand, some segments continued declined which are Photography (PE), Office Equipment & Consumables (OE) and Consumer Electronics (CE). Especially, Photography (PE) represented significantly dropped by 21.8 percent followed by Office Equipment & Consuma-bles (OE) dropped by 10.0 percent and Consumer Electronics (CE) dropped by 4.9 percent.
However, Information Technology (IT) segment seem to reach saturated as market quite main-tained with small growth at 1.0 percent.
