Thailand, Mar 31, 2019 – The Thailand technical consumer goods market increased by 5 percent in the first quarter of 2019, compared to the same quarter last year.
The major segments which boost up the Total Thailand Technical Consumer Goods are Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) which still demonstrated positive trends by 19.2 percent and 11.0 percent respectively. Furthermore, Telecommunication (TEL) also improved by 6.6 percent same as Consumer Electronics (CE) at 2.8 percent.
Conversely, there are declining trends in some segments including Photography (PE) and Office Equipment & Consumables. Especially, Photography (PE) represented significantly dropped by 23.4 percent followed by Office Equipment & Consumables (OE) dropped by 9.7 percent.
However, Information Technology (IT) segment seem to reach saturated as market remained unchanged.
