Results for GfK TEMAX® Sweden for the Q4 of 2018

The last quarter of 2018 caps off an impressive year in the TCG market in Sweden, with solid growth during the year.

Lund, February 14, 2019 – The Technical Consumer Goods (TCG) market ended the year with a solid 4,3% growth from Q4 2017. Q4 generated 22bn SEK, representing 31% of total annual turnover of 71, 4bn SEK. Several sectors saw growth during Q4, with Major Domestic Appliances (MDA), Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), Information Technology (IT), Telecommunications (Tel) and Office Equipment & Consumables (OEC) all improving sales. Photography (PH) were the only sector declining in Q4, with Consumer Electronics (CE) remaining stagnant from the year before.
