GfK TEMAX® results for Sweden, Q2 2019

Lund, July 30, 2019 – Strong growth across most sectors resulted in a positive development for the overall TCG market in Q2 2019. The growth was especially driven by impressive growth in IT and SDA. MDA also contributed to the growth rate, although not as significantly as IT and SDA. The Photo and Office Equipment sectors continued their steep decline, but CE saw a declining demand primarily within Headphones and TV. Telecom reported a growing decline as Conventional Smartphones and Mobilephones failed to generate sales. However, Large Sized Smartphone and Core Wearables made up for the decline resulting in a small decline in growth across the Telecom sector.
