Results for the GfK TEMAX® Portugal for the second quarter of 2019

Lisbon, 01 Aug 2019 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Portugal records a positive quarter – up by almost 2 percent. With a revenue of €674 million, the growth on the quarter is slightly higher than the growth for the total half year. Telecom along with Consumer Electronics and Photo are now the least positive areas, with Telecom almost facing decreasing markets. So Major and small domestic appliances are the categories pushing the market forward, and improving from the first to the second quarter.
