GfK TEMAX results for the Netherlands, Q1 2018

Amstelveen, May 9th 2018. The market for Technical Consumergoods shows growth in the first quarter of 2018 compared to the same period previous year. The increase in sales is mainly due to a strong quarter for Major Domestic Appliances and Telecom. Telecom shows strong sales in the product category Phablets. However, Smartphones show a de-cline, so we start to see an increase in popularity for bigger smartphone screens. Consumer Electronics shows a decline compared to previous year.
