GfK TEMAX results for Malaysia, Q3 2018

Kuala Lumpur, November 16, 2018 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Malaysia lifted by 13.5 per cent in Q3 2018, compared to the same quarter in 2017. Photo (PHO), Major Domestic Appliances (MDA), Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), Telecommunications (TEL), and Consumer Electronics (CE) gained in Q3 2018. These panels increased by 23.1 percent, 21.3 percent, 16.8 percent, 16.1 percent and 8.8 percent respectively. However, Office Equipment (OE) declined by 13.7 percent over the previous year.
