GfK TEMAX results for Morocco, Q4 2018

Casablanca, February 04, 2018 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Morocco registered a growth of 8,8 percent in Q4 2018 Vs Q4 2017 which leads to 9,1% of growth on full year 2018 Vs 2017 with a total turnover of over 14 Billion MAD. 

2018’ performance is generated mainly by telecommunication sector, which remains a key growing category within TCG products in Morocco. In addition, TVs, thanks to a very good campaign in the WORLD CUP, highly participated into the increase with an overall of +7.4% on 2018.
