GfK TEMAX results for Kazakhstan, Q4 2019

Almaty, February 14th 2020 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Kazakhstan overall sales increased by 26,7% in national currency terms in Q4 2019 vs. Q4 2018.

The fourth quarter was the most growing in the local currency during 2019 and the only one that grew in dollar terms against the background of the declining tenge exchange rate. This was made possible by the increased activity of retailers and banks on interest-free installments.
