GfK TEMAX results for Kazakhstan, Q1 2018

Almaty, May 23rd 2018 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Kazakhstan overall sales increased by 23% in national currency terms in Q1 2018 vs. the same period of 2017.

In the first quarter of 2018 market growth decreased compared to the growth index of previous quarter. The higher growth rates of previous quarter were due to promo activity of retailers in cooperation with banks that provided interest-free installments up to two years.
