Technical consumer goods market in Korea declined by - 3.2% in Q3 2018.

GfK TEMAX® results for the Korea, Q3 2018

Seoul, November, 2018 – In the third quarter of 2018, the technical consumer goods(TCG) market declined by -3.2%, compared to the same quarter in 2017. In Q3 2018 there was a large variance in sector growth ranging from -18.5% to + 9.9%. Two out of the seven TCG sectors in Korea –Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), Telecommunications(TEL) reported positive growth, and five other sectors showed negative growth. The TCG market in Korea generated revenue of ₩9.5 trillion in Q3 2018 and ₩9.8 trillion in Q3 2017.
