Good results with some surprises for the Italian Technical Consumer Goods Market in Q4 2018

GfK TEMAX® results for Italy, Q4 2018

Milan, February, 2019 – In Q4 2018, the Italian Technical Consumer Goods (TCG) market registered a robust growth (+2.5 percent), with a generated revenue of €5.9 billion. The Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and Major Domestic Appliances (MDA), which respectively rose by +11.1% and +10.9%, were the fastest growing sectors. A rise in revenue was registered also for Information Technology (IT) and Consumer Electronics (CE) sectors. After years of constant growth, the Telecommunications (TC) sector recorded a negative trend compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
