Slight decline for the Italian Technical Consumer Goods Market in the last quarter of 2019

GfK TEMAX® results for Italy, Q4 2019

Milan, February 2020 – In the last quarter of 2019, the Italian Technical Consumer Goods (TCG) market registered a generated revenue of €5.9 billion, slightly lower than Q4 2018 (-0.4 %). Small Domestic Appliances confirmed itself as the fastest growing sector (+6.9%), while Major Domestic Appliances kept growing at a lower rate (+1.8%). Among the other main sectors Information Technology and Telecommunications reported a rather stable trend, Consumer Electronics still showed a reduction in sales (-4.5%).
