Technical Consumer Goods: the second quarter of 2019 confirmed a slight decrease for the Italian market 

GfK TEMAX® results for Italy, Q2 2019

Milan, August, 2019 – In the second quarter of 2019, the Italian Technical Consumer Goods (TCG) market registered a decrease of 1.8 percent, with a generated revenue of €4.1 billion. Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) sector was very impactful (+8.7.%). Also Major Domestic Appliances was well performing (+2%). While Information Technology resumed growing, other sectors, Consumer Electronics (CE) and Telecommunications in particular, showed a negative performance (-3.5% and -7%).
