Technical Consumer Goods: the Italian market started 2019 with a slight decrease 

GfK TEMAX® results for Italy, Q1 2019

Milan, May, 2019 – Unlike the last quarter of 2018, in the first three months of 2019, the Italian Technical Consumer Goods (TCG) market registered a decrease of 2.7 percent, with a generated revenue of €4.3 billion. The Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) sector confirmed robust growth (+11.7%). A slighter rise in revenue was reported also for the Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) sector (+2%). The other sectors, including Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunications (TC), showed a negative performance compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The Consumer Electronics (CE) sector recorded a particularly severe trend (-8.1%).
