GfK TEMAX results for Israel, Q2 2019

Israel, August 15, 2019 – During Q2 2019, the technical consumer goods (TCG) market, was stable, compared to the same period last year. The last 12 months aggregated sales reached a total of 15 Billion NIS. 

The remission in Q2 2019, was limited to few sectors. While SDA and Telecom products showed growth, CE and IT products revenue decreased. MDA remains almost at the same level. Resulting in a market stability. The very low unemployment rate (3.2% for ages 25-64), coupled with an increase in the average wages 8), and the low interest rate set by The Bank of Israel (Prime rate of 1.75%) were not enough facilitate a continuation of  consumers purchasing drive.
