GfK TEMAX results for Indonesia, Q1 2018

Jakarta, May 07, 2018 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in In-donesia registered 13.6 percent growth in Q1 2018, compared to Q1 2017. The growth is driven by telecommunication sector – up by 30 percent. Con-sumer electronics, Major Domestic Appliances still on the decline with dou-ble-digit downtrend of -15.4 percent and -12.3 percent. Other sectors with lesser downtrend are -6.5 percent for Photo, -2.1 percent for Small Domestic Appliances and -0.7 percent Information Technology (IT).
