GfK TEMAX results for Indonesia, Q4 2018

Jakarta, Feb 6, 2019 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Indo-nesia registered 13.4 percent growth for 2018 (Jan-Dec), compared to same 2017. This growth mainly driven by Smartphone in telecommunication sector – up by 22.8 percent and supported by Information Technology (IT) with 4.6 percent. Meanwhile other sectors has shown softer growth in 2018. Two top contributors with negative growth are Consumer Electronics with -3.6%, fol-lowed by Major Domestic Appliances -1.0 percent. While Small Domestic Ap-pliances and Photo are softened with -4.0% and -9.4%.
