GfK TEMAX results for Indonesia, Q2 2019

Jakarta, Nov 11, 2019 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in In-donesia registered -0.4% percent growth for 2019 (Jan-Sep), compared to same period in 2018. This stable relatively stable movement is driven by top 3 categories +7.2% in IT and 6.9% in MDA while in Telco there are softening movement by -1.1%. Meanwhile other sectors have shown softer growth in 2018. Two Product group with the highest negative growth are Consumer Electronics with -9.1% (due to price war condition) followed by Photo -20.0 percent.
