GfK TEMAX results for Indonesia, Q3 2018

Jakarta, October 31, 2018 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Indonesia registered 14.5 percent growth up to Q3 2018 (Jan-Sep), compared to same period in 2017. This growth now is not only driven by telecommuni-cation sector – up by 26.4 percent, but also Information Technology (IT) up by 2.9 percent. Meanwhile other sectors has shown lessened downtrends. Consumer Electronics and Major Domestic Appliances respectively at -5 per-cent and -3.2 percent. Only Small Domestic Appliances and Photo with slightly higher downtrend at -7.1% and -8.2%.
