Helsinki, July 30, 2019 – Several sectors failed to generate sales at the same level in Q2 2019 as in 2018. This resulted in a small decline for the overall TCG market, where Photo, Office Equipment and Telecom drove most of the decline. However, especially SDA contributed positively to the development by delivering increasing sales primarily within Hair Dryers, Light Therapy and Vacuum Cleaners, but also MDA drove growth across most segments. The demand in CE was lower in Q2 driven by declining TV and Set-top-boxes sales. IT remained stagnant by delivering same sales level in Q2 2019 as in 2018.
