Bogotá, February 14 - 2020 - During the fourth quarter of 2019, the Colombian market for technological consumer goods (TCG) showed a growth in value (+ 18.3%), as well as in units (+ 18.93% ) with respect to the same period of 2018.
Throughout the year, the inclination of consumers to acquire mobile devices has become evident, and this quarter is no exception, since the Telecommunications sector reached about 1.92 billion COP and showed a growth in 23.5% (in value) compared to the same period of the previous year.
This quarter was influenced by promotional events such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas time and promotional events of retailers that took place throughout the quarter. The categories that achieve greater participation in sales were cell phones, laptops, cooling, washing machines and T.V.
