Bogota, July 29th 2019 – During 2019’s second quarter, the Colombian market of Technological Consumption Goods (TCG) presented a growth in sales value of +10,61% respectively. Compared to the one presented on the same period of 2018; On the other hand, compared to the previous Quarter, the TCG market evidenced an increase in sales value 9,18%. The second quarter of the present year was mostly influenced by promotional events (Hot Sale, cyber Monday, black Friday, Anniversaries and local holidays.) realized throughout the trimester. As a result, the best sellers during the events were the product groups Mobile Computing, Smartphones, headphones and Cooling; the category that show a growth was smartphones, through the new renovation of the portfolio of the main brands.
