GfK TEMAX® results for Austria, Q1 2019

Vienna, May 13th, 2019 – The Austrian technical consumer goods market starts with a decline of -1.2% in the year 2019. Consumer Electronics suffer the biggest losses with -12.7% followed by Telecom with -4.7%, Office Equipment with -2.6% and Photo with -1.1%. The largest growth comes from the IT sector with 3.9%, closely followed by Major Domestic Appliances with 3.7% and also the Small Domestic Appliances are developing positively with 2.3%.
