Vienna, May 8th, 2020 – In the first Quarter of 2020, the market for technical consumer goods shows a decline of 1,6% in turnover. Especially office equipment and consuma-bles are losing the strongest with -12,9%. But also consumer electronics, with -10,3% and the photo-sector, with -11,8%, show a remarkable minus. Major and small domestic ap-pliances are with -3,6% and -5,0% respectively, also negative in the YOY comparison. Only IT and telecommunications can outperform their last year’s result. The telecom-turnover grows by 3,7% in Q1, while the IT-sector increases by 4,3%.
