The Turkish technical consumer goods market rose in Q1 2017, compared to the same quarter in 2016

GfK TEMAX® results for Turkey, Q1 2017 

Istanbul, May 23, 2017 – Sales in technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Turkey increased by 8.3 percent in Q1 2017, compared to Q1 2016. Major domestic appliances -due to cancellation of taxes- (MDA) and consumer electronics (CE) sectors performed well – up by 31.3 percent and 10.9 percent respectively. Telecommunication and also the small domestic appliances contributed positively to the overall growth.
