GfK TEMAX® results for Thailand, Q1 2017

Thailand, June15, 2017 –The Thailand technical consumer goods market grew by 5.4 percent in the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter last year (YTD).

The positive sales growth of Thailand technical consumer goods market was contributed by the major four segments, those generated robust growth. These are Consumer Electronic (CE), Photography (PH), Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), and Telecommunications (TEL), which grew by 2.5% 33.7% 13.4% and 19.8%, respectively. While the other three segments are de-creased, namely Major Domestic Appliances (MDA), Information Technology (IT), and Office Equipment & Consumables (OE), compared to Q1 2016.
