The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Singapore fell in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter last year. While three of the sectors turned in positive growth, the remaining four registered negative growth—two of which were in the double-digit range.
In the third quarter of this year, Major Domestic Appliances (MDA), Consumer Electronics (CE) and Photo (PH) were the three growth TCG sectors in Singapore, and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA), Telecommunications (TC), Information Technology (IT) and Office Equipment & Consumables were down in sales compared to the third quarter in the previous year.
