Results for GfK TEMAX® Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Q3 2017

Jeddah, 15 November, 2017 – In the third quarter of 2017, the technical consumer goods (TCG) market witnessed a 3.4 percent decline, compared to the same quarter in 2016. Several sectors, mainly Photo, Small Domestic Appliances, Consumer Electronics, Information Technology and Major Domestic Appliances, declined in value ranging from -4.6% to -32.6%. Telecom and Office Equipment however recorded value growth. The TCG market in the Saudi Arabia generated revenue of SAR 7.3 billion in Q3 2017 and SAR 7.6 billion in Q3 2016.
