GfK TEMAX results for Malaysia, Q3 2017

Kuala Lumpur, November 15, 2017 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Malaysia slipped by 10.7 per cent in Q3 2017, compared to the same quarter in 2016. Telecommunication (TC), small domestic appliances (SDA) and major domestic appliances (MDA) grew in Q2 2017 but the growth was outweighed by the decline in office equipment (OE), information technology (IT), and consumer electronics (CE). These panels were downed by 91.5 percent, 27.0 percent, and 0.3 percent respectively.
