GfK TEMAX results for Malaysia, Q2 2017

Kuala Lumpur, August 15, 2017 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Malaysia improved by 13.7 per cent in Q2 2017, compared to the same quarter in 2016. Telecommunication (TC), consumer electronics (CE), and major domestic appliances (MDA) are the segments that grew in Q2 2017. These panels increased by 35.2 percent, 13.4 percent, and 7.2 percent respectively. However, office equipment fell the most with 67.7 percent, followed by IT at 6.5 percent.
