GfK TEMAX results for Kazakhstan, Q2 2017

Almaty, August 23th 2017 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Kazakhstan overall sales growth of 29% in national currency terms.

In Q2 2017 KZ national currency continued to strengthen. The major part of manufactures and retailers increased their promo activity instead of KZT prices decreasing proportionally to currency rate. As a consequence for a lot of product groups the weighted average prices grew on the background  of increased demand.
