The Korean Technical Consumer Goods market slightly grew 3.6% in Q2 this year compared to last year

GfK TEMAX® results for Korea, Q2 2017

Seoul, May 11, 2017 – Four of the seven TCG sectors – Consumer Electronics(CE), Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and Major Domestic Appliances(MDA), Telecommunications(TEL) in Korea reported expansion in Q2 2017, compared to the same period last year. Three other sectors were in the red, with Photo, Information Technology (IT) and Office Equipment (OE) down from Q2 2016. The overall market grew considerably by 3.6% to generate around KRW 8.6 trillion in Q2 2017.
