Lonely growth of telecommunications in Q2 2017

GfK TEMAX® results for Italy, Q2 2017

Milan, August 10, 2017 – In Q2 2017, with the exception of telecommunnications (TC) - the most important sector in Italy - all sectors registered a decrease. Nevertheless, such growth was not enough to drag the Italian Technical Consumer Goods (TCG) market in a positive area. In fact the market decreased by 1.7 percent compared to the same quarter in 2016, with a generated revenue of €4.2 billion. Stood out the negative performances of information technology (IT) and consumer electronics (CE).
