GfK TEMAX results for Indonesia, Q1 2017

Jakarta, May 18, 2017 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in Indonesia registered a significant increase of 22 percent in Q1 2017, compared to Q1 2016. There were excellent performances in the telecommunication sector – up by 53% when the others are showing a negative trend compare to the same period. Consumer electronics, Photography, Major Domestic Appliances, Small Domestic Appliances and Information Technology (IT) were the disappointing sectors with a decline of 11.2 percent, 2.6 percent, 4.8 percent, 1.3 percent and 9.3 percent respectively.
