Technical consumer goods show a positive turn for the UK in Q3 2017

GfK TEMAX results for the United Kingdom, Q3 2017

Woking, 3 November, 2017 – In the third quarter of 2017, the technical consumer goods (TCG) market grew by 8.4 percent, compared to the same quarter in 2016. Influenced by the slight improvement in consumer confidence most sectors grew in value ranging from +3.6% to +11.8% in Q3. Office Equipment and Consumables however recorded a decline in revenue. The TCG market in the UK generated revenue of GBP 8.2 billion in Q3 2017 and GBP 7.5 billion in Q3 2016.
