Results for GfK TEMAX® China for the second quarter of 2017

Beijing, Aug 15, 2017 – The technical consumer goods (TCG) market in China reached CNY 382.0 billion in the second quarter of 2017 – an increase of 11.9 percent, compared to the same quarter in 2016.

Telecommunications (TC) and small domestic appliances (SDA) achieved double-digit growth in Q2 2017 with respective growth rate 16.4% and 21.7%. The Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) sector sales value growth reached to 8.0%.The yearly growth rate of IT sector rises to 5.7%. The Photography (PH) sector sales value growth reached to 3.8%.
