The Austrian technical consumer goods market remained slightly positive in second quarter of 2017

GfK TEMAX® results for Austria, Q2 2017

Vienna, July 27th, 2017 – In the second quarter of 2017, the Austrian consumer goods market (TCG) grew by + 0.5% compared to the second quarter of 2016.

In addition to the sharp decline in Consumer Electronics (CE), Information Technology (IT) again decreased in the second quarter of 2017. The developments in Telecommunications (TC), Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) and Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) are particularly positive.
